Light a Candle
Gloria loved gospel music and Alabama Football, but mostly her numerous grandchildren and g. grandchildren. She loved sequins, glitter, sparkle, razzle and dazzle. She will be dearly missed by all. Born in Center, TX to Fred and Hazel Doyle nee. Williford Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Harkness; sister Joyce Ray; husband, H. Anthony Lyons; g.grandaughter Ivy M. Boone Surviving family includes, her four children: Peggy (Tommy) Peters of Grand Bay, AL; J. Kenneth Brakel of Omaha, NE; J. Kevin Brakel of Theodore (Belle Fountain), AL Phillip A. (Curtra) Whitton of Mobile, AL Brother, Phil (Paula) Doyle of Granbury, TX 11 grandchildren ranging in ages 17 to 27 1 g.grandchild and "one on the way" Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends as well. She was the light of our lives and had a million dollar smile. We love you mama and miss you so much already. A memorial service will be held on Sunday January 23, 2022 at 1:30pm.
